The guy bought the old plane and invested almost all the money in it. Six months later, Boeing became a dream villa

A long-abandoned Boeing 737 was destined for scrap until an entrepreneur noticed it. The guy invested almost all the money in an ambitious project. And it looks like an unusual investment may well pay off: after six months of operation, the old plane has become a dream villa.

Boeing was once used by an Indonesian airline. In 2014, it closed, the plane was going to be sold for scrap. The investor, fired up with the idea, bought it in its entirety – and paid a lot more for transportation.

The liner was transported in parts to the top of a cliff in Bali. The request for all the necessary documents for this cost almost more than the airliner itself. Then I had to invest in restructuring: the guy decided to turn the plane not just into a house, but into a luxurious villa.

After the conversion, Boeing got two full-fledged bedrooms. The bathroom with Jacuzzi is located in the dismantled cockpit. There is a swimming pool next to the aircraft overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Now the investment should start making money. The author of the idea proposes to rent rooms on the plane for seven thousand dollars per night. The unusual house should receive its first guests in March 2023.

The project will probably pay off. Not in the first year, but such things attract wealthy travelers.
