The zoologist attached a camera to a python, and then showed on the video how the snake spends the day and what it does

In the wild, we know little about snake behavior, but one naturalist decided to change that. He managed to mount a small camera on a royal python, set up remote access, and videotape his daily life.

The camera was probably installed after the python was caught sleeping, as this would not have been possible in the wild. After installing the camera, the python was released at approximately the same place where he was caught.

The camera was equipped with a battery and compact enough not to cause discomfort to the snake. The python quickly got used to the camera and disappeared into the water after overcoming the clearing.

The action camera was also designed for water, so its work did not stop when the python swam across the river. Even with the rapid flow of water, the camera remained firmly fixed and continued shooting. The recording shows how the python comes to the other side and continues to move already in the forest, where he managed to successfully hunt.

The most interesting thing began when the python decided to hunt:

The chamber was designed to eventually come loose without interfering with the snake’s daily tasks.
