Grannie was alone. Her family was uncaring. A visitor surprised her on her 10th birthday.

Young people frequently send their elderly parents to a different residence to avoid loneliness. Doronti Mercy Ballad of Alglia was alone and needed aid. She had no kids or relations, as though everyone had abandoned her. The elderly lady lived alone. Ben the trashman was knocking. Who came twice a week to remove the rubbish, but he was the only one who spoke gently to the elderly lady. Ben liked hearing his grandmother’s life tales.

Tatigg was accustomed to Ben’s visits; she knew his arrival time and would wait outside if he was late. She was convinced no one would recognize her on her 100th birthday. Mercy got up, did her duties, and sat down to watch TV when she heard the knock. Ben was holding a birthday cake and candles as she answered the door. The woman’s family had never surprised her so.

Ben, a stranger who is now a relative, surprised him. Ben and his buddies arrived, blew out the candles, and clapped. Ben told Mercy they are friends, best buddies. Mercy adored chatting to Ben while everyone else ignored him. Ben showed her that she was not so ignored and that he would always be at her side, based on the situation. Ben was a youngster with a huge heart who didn’t have a mother; maybe that’s why he felt so much about Mercy. Their connection transcended age and socioeconomic rank.
