A man who was adopted from Japan buys a DNA kit and learns that his biological family lives in Ohio

Michael, now 70 years old, was born in occupied Japan in 1951. His true mother is Yoshiko Nakajima, a Japanese lady, and his biological father is Dick Webster, an American serviceman.

Michael joined the Army, earned the rank of Green Beret, and finally settled down in the United States to have a family.

In the year 2019, a young guy from Cincinnati, Ohio called Damien sent a message to Michael, who resides in Fort Worth, Texas, using the 23andMe app.

Someone anonymously pointed out that they shared genetic material with me. I’m really familiar with all of my relatives. He revealed this to KENS 5, saying, “I don’t know who you are.

When asked for a response, Michael told the group about his background and how he had Japanese ancestors. Afterwards, a slew of more inquiries were posed.

Michael called Damien’s aunt Robin Reid some hours later. After making that phone call, he suddenly had access to previously inaccessible opportunities.

Michael, who was brought up as an only kid, just learned that he had seven half-siblings in Ohio. She even had a snapshot of him when he was a toddler.

To this day, Robin still keeps in mind the image of the little child captured in one of their father’s photographs. All these years, the image of his head full of black hair and lovely dark eyes haunted me, and I’ve wondered where my brother was.

While their mom and dad were already long gone, the boys still helped their dad out by gathering information. They found out from the villagers that Yoshiko had Michael adopted for his own safety. She had just him to raise.
