A 60-year-old man cried like a baby when he first met his mother, who had dropped him off at an orphanage

Donny Ballard was born in the United States and grew up in a foster family. Despite the sincere love and care of his foster parents, the man has dreamed of seeing his biological mother all his life. In his sixtieth year, his dream came true, reports Opinion.life

As a child, young Donnie often wondered who his real biological mother was. He wondered where and with whom this woman lived, what her interests were. The only thing he knew was his mother’s name, which he learned from the birth certificate. Luckily, it was enough to find her one day, hug her and thank her for the gift of life.

Ballard was always eager to find his parents and find out if he looked like them. Seven years ago, the American began searching for his relatives. He and his sister from a foster family registered with a special service where people search for their relatives. For several years they couldn’t find anything, but this year Donny’s details suddenly “matched” one of the service users, his potential niece.

The man immediately messaged the woman, and after suffering a bit of shock, she contacted her aunt, Alice Bradford, and told her she might have a sibling she didn’t know about. Alice decided to test the likelihood of a relationship directly with her mother.

When Alice’s mother found out about everything, she cried and confessed that she once had a son, but her mother forced her to give the boy to the orphanage.

Donnie’s biological mother’s name is Dorothy Mary Pierce-Cohen. After Ballard was born, she entered into a marriage in which she had five more children. But all these years, Dorothy never stopped worrying about the fate of her firstborn, about whom she knew nothing. She no longer harbored any hope of meeting her son when he found her and came to hold him.
