Love in the Heart: How a Woman with an Unusual Face Found Female Happiness

On her wedding day, Jeanine Violette Lite felt pretty, confident and unique for the first time in many years.

The 35-year-old Belfast resident suffered constant resentment and cruel ridicule after a rare infection destroyed part of her face as a child.

After passing through all the circles of hell, the Irish woman was able to collect her spirit and accept herself as she is. This was made possible with the help of a loving spouse.

Janine’s face was disfigured by infectious inflammation after she was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of two. Since then, the Irishwoman has suffered constant ridicule when compared to Quasimodo.

In addition, the girl is difficult to eat, and one of her eyes does not close at all, despite having undergone more than 30 operations. Now the mother of two is hoping for the help of a famous American surgeon who can restore most of the physical functions of the face.

Janine contracted necrotic fasciitis, an infection that destroys the body’s soft tissue, during chemotherapy. The skin began to rot and doctors had to remove most of it, causing facial disfigurement.

The first operation on a girl took place at the age of five. Doctors tried to repair the cheek. After that, Janine underwent two operations a year until she was 15 years old.

Most of them were reconstructive. Unfortunately, they did not produce the desired result. Janine decided to quit because she was tired of the strenuous surgical procedures.

During school years, the Irishman allowed the children’s ridicule, but she heard the cruelest comments as an adult. The ridicule has completely destroyed her confidence and reduced her self-esteem to zero.

The woman did not want to have a relationship until adulthood. However, she found her female happiness when she met her current spouse, 44-year-old Matthew Light.

The couple has been together for 11 years now. Janine was married once before, but divorced her ex-husband and father of her two children.

Social media users and passersby called her Quasimodo and other offensive nicknames. Janine even reported her to the police because she believed she was being persecuted because of her unusual appearance.

In the beginning, Matthew was just a family friend, but over time their relationship developed into true love. In 2019, the lovers got married amidst 60 guests.

Janine had beautiful wedding make-up and a beautiful wedding hairstyle done. She finally found herself on this important day and stopped worrying about what others would say about her.
